Lieutenant Tremayne R. Williams, USNR

Lieutenant Tremayne R. Williams, son of a Navy Chief Petty Officer was born in Bethesda, Maryland, and raised in Pensacola, Florida. He earned his commission through the Southern University and A&M College ROTC program in May 2013.

Upon completion of the Basic Division Officer’s Course, he served as the Electrical Officer onboard USS Taylor (FFG-50). He was a member of the crew during USS Taylor’s final deployment in support of OPERATION MARTILLO, and decommissioning in 2015. He transferred to U.S Naval Forces Southern Command, Fourth Fleet, where he served as the Assistant Training Officer.

In November 2015, LT Williams separated from active duty to subsequently join the Navy Reserve. He accepted an active recall to Naval Recruiting District Jacksonville in September 2016 as a Canvasser Recruiter. At NRD Jacksonville, LT Williams served as the Nuclear Officer Recruiter and Division Officer for Division TWO spanning all the southeastern Georgia regions. In February 2018, he accepted a recall position as a Transition Assistant and reported to Navy Personnel Command in Millington, TN. During his assignment, he additionally held the position as the commands Managers’ Internal Control Program Manager for Pers-9. LT Williams separated from recall orders in September 2019. He now serves in Human Resources as a Senior Recruiter and Military Transition Consultant for Frontier Technology Inc., where he founded and actively manages the company’s Military Transition and Veterans Program.

LT Williams’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern University and A&M College. His awards include Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in lieu of 3rd award, Volunteer Service Medal, and numerous other personal and unit service awards.

Tremayne voluntarily serves as the National Membership Director for National Naval Officers Association, a member of the Naval Academy Minority Association, chair member for Frontier Technology Inc. Diversity and Inclusion committee, and a member of The Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge of Florida Free and Accepted Masons Prince Hall Affiliated. He currently resides in Annapolis, MD, with his wife, LT Christina Johns Williams and daughter, Talia.
