CAPT Simonia R. Blassingame, USN (Ret.)

Simonia R. Blassingame is an accomplished executive leader with over 25 years of stellar success in implementing complex visions. She uses a unique mix of strategic analysis and operational management techniques across multiple disciplines. A human capital expert with broad, deep knowledge of workforce issues such as talent management, financial management, leadership, and professional development.

Simonia R. Blassingame has specialization in Manpower Systems Analysis (Proven); Education and Training Management (Proven); Operational Research Analysis and Assessment (Proven) and Human System Integration (Experience). Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR and SHRM-SCP), APGM Change Management Registered Practitioner, and EQi-360. She has completed additional training in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) and Conflict Dynamics.

She broadened her military manpower, analysis, and training competencies by completing successful tours with Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 120 (VAW-120); Naval Support Activity, Souda Bay, Crete; Commander, U. S. Pacific Fleet; Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C; USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65); Human Performance Center; Center for Personal and Professional Development; Bureau of Naval Personnel; Naval Postgraduate School (NPS); and U.S. Southern Command.

She currently runs a consulting agency, Focused Motives, LLC and serves as a contracted facilitator at NPS. She volunteers as a Bossed Up Community Trainer; with a goal of helping women (18-35) craft happy, healthy, and sustainable careers. She also serves as advocacy and service chair of the Zonta International (Orlando e-Club).
